Born in Aix-en-Provence, Cezanne is a world renowned french painter, considered as the « father of modern art » and who spent his life mastering the art of impressionism and post-impressionism, using the little Provençal town as his inspiration and main decor. Walking through the medieval streets, you will see the different places he frequented before visiting his last house, where he painted until his death and created the famous painting « Les Grandes Baigneuses » (Bathers). Friend with the writer Emile Zola, Cezanne used to get together with him for some drinks at the local brasserie « Les 2 Garçons » where you will have the possibility to enjoy a lunch. In the afternoon, you will head to the Montagne Sainte Victoire, one of Cezanne’s favorite subjects (he painted more than 60 artworks of it) and drive along this scenic road where you will soak up the peaceful atmosphere before heading back
