Tour Description<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

We follow the coast road to Antibes<\/strong> which is at the opposite side of the Angels’ Bay and Nice, and you will discover the old town, enjoy the Proven\u00e7al market, the Pablo Picasso Museum (optional) and the charming pedestrian area of the city. You will admire the billionaire’s pier which welcomes the largest and fanciest yachts of the world, the square fortress and one of the largest marinas in Europe.

From there we will continue along the coast through places such as fancy Juan-les-Pins and Golf Juan in direction to Cannes<\/strong>. Among the famous festivals held here during the year, the most celebrated one is for sure the International Film festival in May. See the iconic Film festival Palace and feel like a star walking on the famous Croisette boulevard with its prestigious hotels and its sandy beaches. <\/p>\n\n\n\n


Let’s continue to Grasse<\/strong> which is a welcoming picturesque resort town on an outstanding site. The main industry of the town today, as it has been for centuries, is perfume-making of which Grasse is the World’s Capital, so either you will visit the Fragonard perfume factory or the Old town.

We will then drive up to Gourdon<\/strong> : Built on the top of a rocky spur some 800 meters high, this veritable eagle’s nest of a feudal village occupies a remarkable site overlooking the Loup-Canyon. The main street of the village leads to a tiny square that is a veritable viewing platform for the Riviera, offering an exceptional panorama looking out towards Nice and beyond to the Esterel mountains.

After a drive through the Loup Canyon, we will reach Tourettes-sur-Loup,<\/strong> the city of violets, suspended on the flanks of the mountain, the outer houses of Tourettes appear to form a rampart. Numerous artisans have set up shops in the town, seduced by the charm of its ancient stones, adding their production to the local harvest of olives, carnations, roses and above all, violets which furnish the town’s annual festival with one of the most prized floral displays on the Riviera. We will stop there for a beautiful picture!

We’ll finish the day in Saint Paul de Vence,<\/strong> a wonderful medieval village where many of the great painters (Chagall, Matisse, Miro, Renoir) and artists have stayed. From the height of its walls the views are beautiful. You will appreciate the charm of its stone architecture and its famous art galleries. Let yourself be guided by the charm of the craft workshops where crafts people work, often leaving the doors of their workshops open for all to see.
