A former fishing village, the dazzling city of Saint-Tropez enjoys an incredible location on the French Riviera between Nice and Marseille. Today a favorite spot for actors and millionaires, Saint-Tropez became famous by the end of the 19th century thanks to painters influenced by its picturesque urban design and natural landscapes such as Signac, Picasso and Matisse, then by the iconic 50’s movie “And God Created Woman” with Brigitte Bardot. On this exclusive private day tour, your guide will take you for a complete tour of Saint-Tropez and its highlights. Travelling in a comfortable minivan, you will enjoy the landscape of the green Provence on your way to the little town. In the city center, we will venture into the cobbled streets surrounded by colorful buildings and we will climb up to the Citadelle, a protected site from where you will enjoy some exceptional views over Saint-Tropez. As you stroll, discover some historical landmarks and a big choice of luxury brands. as well as the Annonciade Museum which houses a fabulous collection of artworks from 19th and 20th century painters including Matisse, Braque, Delaunay and Picasso (optional). With its luxury yachts and bustling terraces, the Old Port, the real city center, is a perfect place to relax with the famous Tarte Tropézienne or a glass of chilled Rosé wine from one of the surrounding vineyards. Itinerary
Discover Saint-Tropez, a jewel of the French Riviera, famous for its luxury yachts and villas. Departing from Nice or any other city nearby, you will travel in a comfortable vehicle with an expert guide. On your way, you will enjoy some beautiful views on the vineyards of Provence. In the city, you will follow your guide for a stroll, passing by many historical sites and key places such as the Old Port with its luxury yachts and lively cafes, as well as the Citadelle located on a hill overlooking the city. At the end of the day, your guide will drive you back at your departure point. Please note you can personalize your tour in order to visit also other villages such as Gassin, Port Grimaud and Ramatuelle.
